1. How do I know if I have hail damage to my roof? Can I tell from the ground?
To determine if your shingles have been damaged a close inspection of the shingles has to be made from the roof. Damage is almost always missed from a ground level inspection.
2. My roof looks fine! Could it still be damaged?

7. When an insurance adjuster inspects my roof, how do I know if he understands roofs enough to spot hidden damage?

9. My roof is new, can I assume it is covered by my manufacturer’s warranty?
No. All shingle manufacturers exclude hail impacts from their warranty.

No. If your roof has any damage what-so-ever you have a VALID insurance claim and should file with your insurance company. Insurance companies can not raise rates or cancel your policy for a weather related claim. It is illegal for them to do so.
